Final Update Released

Howdy. I've had a never-ending journey filled with pain and triumphance with this game. It was all worth it in the end, I've learned so much working on this game and it has helped me on improving myself as a person and a programmer.

Anyway, this is the final update, which overhauls the overall look and performance of the game. The graphics have been made simpler and easier to look at. Most soft shadows have been turned into hard shadows, and the game looks more cartoony. Harley has had all her weapons replaced. Now every character weapon is different, with maybe a couple exceptions. The game has gotten more chaotic and random. I ran into a couple of programming brick walls with this update. The high score system took a whole week for me to implement and I had to spend another week fixing the problems that I encountered with it. Another thing holding me back was the implementation of the object pooling script. This new script greatly decreases the chance for stuttering the game, which was a huge problem before this update, so I'm really glad that I completely went through with this addition and tested it to make sure it always worked.

The final boss also has a new phase, but I won't go into detail.

I will make a separate post noting the changes that went into the update, though it's incomplete and I don't really care about all the tiny changes that went into making this update.

This is it. My first passion project is fully complete.
